It is about 20 meters in from a lane way that leads to Kiltormer New Graveyard . It is in an agricultural field . A stone wall was built around the well in 1992 .

4 Cure

It is supposed to have a cure for sore eyes and warts. You dip your fingers in to the well or put drops of water into your eye. You then say a prayer.

5 Pattern day

The pattern day was supposed to be on the third Friday in August. People prayed while they walked around the well. They prayed for their intentions e.g. a cure for a sickness.

6 Offerings

People left coins at the well. They may have tied thread or ribbon to the Hawthorn Bush beside the well.
