2. Participating in the project is voluntary and does not involve any financial compensation. You do not have to answer every question to be a contributor. All uploaded data is publicly accessible; by uploading materials and data, including personal data, you agree to their public viewing and archiving. Any personal data you choose to provide to the project will be processed and handled in accordance with the E.U. General Data Protection Requirements (GDPR) and other applicable law. If you choose to enter your name, it will be published on the project website (ihwcbc.omeka.net) for the purpose of giving you credit for your submission(s). Your submission, including your name, will eventually be given to the Irish National Folklore Collection in Dublin. If provided, your email may be used by the researcher, Dr. Celeste Ray, to contact you for clarification about your submission. If at any time you wish the project to delete your personal information, please notify Dr. Ray at cray@sewanee.edu.

3. "Benefits" of participation in the project are in the form of contributing to a national database and being the acknowledged author of your entry(ies) to be cited accordingly by those accessing your submitted data. The database will further an understanding of holy well sites and practices in Ireland and around the world.
