down to the water and is enclosed by a modern wall (h1.5m) with a piered gate and plaque commemorating its restoration which began in 1989. The well is accessible to the public who can enter the churchyard by ascending a number of stone steps. A sign for Ladychapel cemetery on the main road indicates the site.
