“Situated at the base of a W-facing slope of rising ground with a church and graveyard to the Northwest. A disused holy well originally enclosed by a drystone wall and is now enclosed by modern concrete surrounded with broken statues on a shelf to the North of the well” (Farrelly & Caimin, 2002: 273).
