The well “is located in St Anne’s Park in Raheny and lent its name to the park…the well can be found by entering the park by the James Larking Road gate and walking around to the pond where it is located. It is comprised of large rough rocks as is the area around it. It has only ever been dry in living memory and this is likely due to the sitting of the large pond adjacent to the well” (Branigan 2012: 65).
